Tuesday marked the second day of MBFWA. After a quick caffeine hit or two, Tristan and I were off to view shows including; Flowers For Vagabond, Toi et Moi Sydney, Song for the Mute and the amazing finale show for day 2; Bowie. My look for the day consisted of the collarless Sass and Bide blazer, highlighting a scribble ombre black, wax print, paired with the Sass & Bide 'Master' relaxed pants, to add a burst of colour. A change in nail colour was in order; therefore I slipped by the Maybelline touch up bar, for some quick pampering. The afternoon rushed by quickly, with a showing of a Melbourne based Jewellery collection; Edenborough Evans, at the Shangri-la hotel, followed by a brief stop to Torstar Communications head quarters, to view some latest ShopBop pieces. I was very impressed with the jewellery line, Edenborough Evans, which highlights solid and affordable pieces. Designer Anna, was inspired by her time in Italy and learnt her skills from the best. A number of pieces stood out to me, including rings in which she has cast from old fashion waxed stamps. I love the movement that the wax over the cast creates. Personalised jewellery has just gotten a whole lot cooler, as Edenborough Evans has the option to go D.I.Y…..literally! Basically, the customer is able to hammer in a message, name or date (anything your heart desires), onto a silver or brass plate, which is then made into a delicate bracelet! It's a very exciting time for the girls, as they have just been picked up by Harrods!
