Oriental

Top Shop floral Kimono, New York City tank by Topshop, General Pants fedora, Sportsgirl sunglasses

Asia’s influence has been interpreted into the Eastern Spring fashion collections, as seen on the runways. From silk trousers, to wrap jackets and kimono-ties, the trend is all about the layering of the oriental prints. The traditional Japanese dress has especially been made dominant by designers with flowers, cranes, dragons and exotic embroidery. This Top Shop Kimono that I am wearing above with my gorgeous new puppy; Indie, features an all over floral print and side split detailing. The light fabric, straight-lined silhouette and wide sleeves make this a favourite of mine. Billowing floral Kimonos can be worked into any outfit by slipping it over the top as a blazer, to create that modern, Eastern effect to the oriental robe.
