70's Style-
I must admit, I am obsessed with my flares. I already own 4 pairs and I can't get enough. Think Rachel Zoe meets Marsha Brady...the 70's are back. We have been seeing so many designers reinevent the 70's in their latest collections on the European runways of late, also magazines and celebrities have also taken on their own adaptation of this trend. Wide legged trousers, fedora hats, fur trimmed trenchs, pant suits, calf length dresses and skirts have all been seen on the runways. Marc Jacobs, Tony Burch and Chris Benz were just some of the designers who expressed their love for the decade.Marc Jacobs New York Fashion Week 2011

The Turtle NeckWho would of thought our Nanna's turtle neck would be reinvented? From the runway we have seen that a turtle neck can be worn with....well anything! At the Celine show almost every model struttered down the runway sporting a a fitted white turtle neck, displayed under blazers, long trenches and sweaters. The turtle neck look screams that Summer is well over and Winter is on its way.

The Poncho/ Cape
The Poncho/ Cape has me excited about keeping warm in the up and coming chilly months. Yves Saint Laurent showed us the cape in a more dramatic fashion, Rag & Bones took to the more bohemian look, and DKNY made us question weather it is a coat or a cape. The Poncho/ Cape/ Blanket wrap- whatever you choose to call it is in!

Colourful Fur
"Its called dyed to match," Designer Michael Kors has said. Put it this way, any kind of fur is amazing!.....Colourful fur takes my love to the next level. Seen on the Milan runway, Fendi boasted multicolured and textured fur pieces, at Gucci they came in eye-catching colours from aqua green to plum and Prada displayed shaggy colourful pieces.

Sheer Skirts-
I have one....and you should too! Sheer skirts have been a hit on the European runways. Marc Jacobs show in Paris was opened with a transperent top, patent leather thick belt and a sheer skirt. The Givenchy collection, and Stella Mcartney also used them in there collections in all different forms.
