"Milan Darling!!!!"

Milan Fashion Week has finished and now it’s on to Paris, but I had to post some of my favourite trends from the Italian capital of fashion! Take a little 1960s style with the shift dresses and eye catching graphic prints, mix that with fur of all kinds- (faux, bold colours, multi-textured), and then piece that together with menswear-turned-womenswear with military style trenches and slim tailored trousers, (as well as a pussy-bowtie and a top hat here and there), then you have an insight into the trends that hit the Milan runways. Bright, solid block colour came plummeting off the runway at Jil Sander's Fall collection, boasting sweater knits, pleated pants, short jackets and coats cropped at the sleeves and simple three button blazers. The 1950's skiwear inspiration was evident, with models wearing sweaters attached with bright hoods and stirrup like pants tucked into their wedges, and did give the feeling of the Fashion world meeting the Winter Olympics. Hair was restricted to slick back buns, accompanied by bright blue eye shadow and (amazing) eye-catching neon-red fluorescent lipstick. Jil Sanders Milan Fall collection show was on par with her previous spring collection, as it sure did not disappoint! Below I have included some images from the runway, so sit back and relax because for a moment your in Milan, Darling!
