Australia's most eligible bachelors flocked to Sydney's IVY last night, in the anticipated announcement of the 2011 CLEO bachelor awards. 50 available hotties, took to a lavishing dinner, followed by a celebratory after party, sporting there finest suiting attire. Eamon Sullivan who was a favourite to win, took home the iconic award; plus a mini Nissan Micra. I was fortunate enough to attend this prestigious event at the plush IVY Den, wearing a stunning silk Gossip Couture gown, with embroidered Swarovski crystals. I scouted this gown on the runway last week at Gossip Couture's show (see blog listing below) and I knew that it would be perfect for this event. The lovely and talented designer of the label, Mauricio dressed me in this 'Uma' long dress and I recieved a number of complements on this stunning piece.
I got to meet and catch up with more inspiring, talent, including the outstanding fashion designer Rachel Gilbert, who dressed CLEO's editor Gemma Crisp, in to stunning pieces (one for the dinner and one for the after party.) She also wore one of her own designs from her upcoming collection, that I must say was amazing.
Apart from the fact that I am literally running of 2 hours sleep, as I had a plane to catch at 5 :30 this morning, (home to see family for the Easter break) it was a maginificant event; full of vodka sodas, great company and of course (what the event is all about); loads of eye-candy, ie. Bachelors!
