Wednesday night, I had the launch of the influential Tangent magazines issue #7, titled 'Uncensored Glamour.' Tangent mag, is an online fashion magazine full of inspiration and creativity. The event was held at The Beach Haus in Potts Point, where the four magazine covers hung from the walls. Such an awesome vibe filled the air, thanks to a great crowd and upbeat music, carried out by DJ's, Mailer Daemon, DJ Cunningpants and Matt Saville. Sorry that I have taken a while to publish this post. Apart from the fact that I am trying to ignore a cold that has hit me (thanks to ChristopherJames) I have been quite a busy little bee! Last night, Tim and I made use of our free tickets to the musical 'Hairspray', which has just hit Sydney. If you are still deciding whether or not to see it, decide yes! It is such a wonderful show. Besides the outstanding vocals, set design and dance choreography, I found myself mesmerized with the costumes, which were full of colourful fabrics and doused in glitter and sequins. They were full on 60's style, with go-go skirts, geometric prints, swing coats and bell bottomed trousers.
So, get your 'beehive on' and step back to Baltimore in the 1960s and see Hairspray. Then to get inspiration from another level, visit tangentmag.com, where you are set to be blown into a whole other fashion universe! Plus, the Tangent team sure know how to throw a great party!!!!
