Here's a glimpse of Myer's Spring/Summer collection, which was launched on Thursday night. The celebrity packed event showcased Australia's leading designers such as; Nicola Fenetti, Fleur Wood, Wayne Cooper, Bettina Liano, Manning Cartell, Yeojin Bae, Fernando Frisoni, Ellery and of course joining the long list of the department stores designers names; Sass & Bide. Us guests were welcomed with canapes and cocktails and got to mingle, until the highly anticipated event kicked off at Carriage Works. Vivid colours of oranges and fuchsias popped from the runway and caught the eye. Sass & Bide opened the show, with models walking down the 20 metre runway, followed by Myer Ambassador Jennifer Hawkins wearing a yellow chiffon mini dress with a open two-toned full length dress draped over the top, then layered with a stunning gold sequin jacket. Not only was there a whole heap of colour, as it is all about the brights this season, we also saw flirty floral dresses, masculine clean white suiting, floppy hats, sexy patterned swimwear, navy stripes and earth tones. Personally, I was loving the feathers, high-waisted flowing skirts and sequins! Hawkins closed the show, which was inspired by the Australian desert, wearing an incredible 7kg crystal-encrusted dress by Ellery....Kym can never do wrong in my eyes!
