Be Inspired

Taking a stroll through Hyde Park, my day off was spent gossiping over coffee with my friend Priscilla about our plans and dreams for the future. I love to hear about other peoples hopes and expectations for what lies ahead, as I firmly believe you can do anything if you are determined and committed. A lot of people I have spoken to of late, feel as though they are in a 'post-teen crisis.' My definition of that is that they are stuck in a rut and are freaking out because they are not teenagers anymore and feel as though they are wasting precious time (We all feel this way from time to time.) They either know what they want but don't know what path to take to get there or they don't exactly know what they want to do. The world is full of decisions and choices that sometimes I wish we didn't have to make. The thought of getting older indeed scares me, but my dreams often wrestle that fear with excitement. My Imagination once got me into trouble in high school, as it often lead to day-dreaming, but now I value it, because without it I would not have the dreams and aspirations that I thrive to achieve today. This quote pretty much sums up what I believe, “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it."
How inspired are you?

  2. Wow this outfit is incredible!! I love the long skirt long top combination. That is soooooo where I'm at right now, in that post-teen stage... But we'd be foolish to think that there aren't an abundance of opportunities waiting out there for us! They just need to be grabbed :)

Can't wait to peruse the rest of your blog
